How to tell which drive windows 10 is booting from?

There are a few ways to check which drive Windows 10 is booting from. The most common way is to open the Control Panel and click on System and Security and then click on Administrative Tools and open Computer Management.

1. Click on Disk Management in the left pane, you will see a list of all the drives installed in your computer.
2. The drive that has the Windows 10 operating system installed will be listed as “Active.”
3. The other drives will be listed as “Healthy” or having errors.
4. You can also right click on the windows logo in lower left of your desktop and select Run, type in diskmgmt.msc and hit enter.

Another way of checking which drive Windows 10 is booting from is to open a command prompt.

1. To do this, type cmd in the search bar and select Run as administrator.
2. In the command prompt, type in bcdedit and hit enter.
3. This will list all the drives that are currently being used to boot Windows 10.
4. The drive that has the Windows 10 operating system installed will be listed as “Active.”
